Terms and Conditions

Nonconformance Notification

Supplier shall notify Planet Tool & Engineering of nonconforming processes, product or services and make arrangements for Planet Tool & Engineering’s approval of supplier nonconforming material.

Change Notification

Planet Tool & Engineering requires the supplier to notify Planet Tool & Engineering of changes in processes, product or services definition and, where required, obtain organization approval.

Right of Access

Right of access by Planet Tool & Engineering, our customer, and regulatory authorities to all facilities involved in the order and to all applicable records

Sub-tier Supplier Flowdown

Planet Tool & Engineering requires the supplier to flow to sub-tier suppliers the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents, including key characteristics where required.

Digital Product Definition (DPD)

Supplier is required to obtain approval as a DPD-capable supplier if the supplier receives download, and/or uses Computer Aided Design geometry in any format from Planet Tool & Engineering requiring DPD quality assurance. Digital datasets are reference only (not design or inspection authority) until DPD approval status is obtained. ITAR

Supplier shall only assign personnel to perform work in supplier’s facilities who are either U.S citizens or who have been granted permanent resident alien status in the U.S.

Record Retention

Supplier shall retain records for 10 years or per contract requirement

Special Quality Requirements

The Seller must comply with special requirements as specified in detail on the Purchase Order or referenced documents.

Material Substitutions Prohibition (counterfeit)

Material substitutions are not permitted, including conversion of raw material (e.g. heat treat and processes/methods by which the final form is achieved). Raw material certification shall show clear traceability to the manufacturer(s) of the raw material and inspection as required by applicable raw material specification requirements. When specifications and standards are obsolete, use the last active revision of the canceled specification and standard until an acceptable replacement is included in the requirements of the purchase order. Reference Boeing Clause Number D607 which may be found at http://www.boeingsuppliers.com. The substance of this Article shall be flowed in all subcontracts at every tier.

Counterfeit Electronic Parts Detection And Avoidance System Requirements

Seller shall implement a counterfeit electronic parts detection and avoidance system consistent with the requirements of the latest dated version of SAE standard AS5553, as of the effective date of the purchase order. Quality Management System Changes

Seller shall promptly notify Planet Tool & Engineering of intended or actual changes to quality management system that may affect the conformity of its goods or services.

Calibration

All equipment and tools will be calibrated to manufacturers specifications unless other wise specified.

Boeing Tooling

All purchase orders that involve Boeing Tooling work must follow the requirements of D6-56202, Tooling Supplier Quality Operating Requirements. Contact your purchasing agent with any questions.

DPAS Rating

If a DPAS rating is specified in the text of the Purchase Order, this is a rated order certified for national defense use. The Seller is required to follow all provisions of the Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems regulation (15 CFR part 700) in obtaining products, services and materials needed to fill this order.

Awareness

Suppliers shall insure persons are aware of their contribution to product or service conformity, product safety and the importance of ethical behavior.

FOD Prevention

Supplier is required to establish and maintain a FOD prevention program that insures supplied material is free of Foreign Object Debris.

Supplier Quality Expectation

Suppliers are expected to maintain 90% or greater on-time delivery and quality performance.

Affirmative Action Plan Third Party Notification

This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
